Well,               a               little               over               a               week               ago,               I               came               to               the               conclusion               that               I               needed               a               new               PC,               and               being               a               computer               gamer,               a               media               designer,               and               a               college               student,               I               needed               a               pretty               high-end               PC,               but               I               also               needed               to               keep               the               price               relatively               low.

After               looking               at               the               PC's               offered               by               companies               like               Dell,               and               HP,               I               decided               that               they               were               not               for               me,               simply               because               to               get               the               specifications               I               needed,               i               would               have               had               to               pay               a               lot               more               than               I               had               available               to               me.

After               a               little               extra               research,               including               considering               buying               all               of               the               parts               separately,               and               putting               it               all               together               myself,               I               stumbled               across               CyberPowerPC.com.

Since               I               consider               myself               a               pretty               big               PC               buff,               yet               I               had               never               heard               of               this               company               before,               I               was               a               bit               skeptical               at               first.

The               prices               they               offered               almost               seemed               too               good               to               be               true.

However,               after               reading               some               reviews               on               their               site,               and               asking               a               few               friends               if               they               knew               anything               about               the               company,               I               decided               to               go               ahead               &               place               my               order               with               them.
The               first               thing               that               I               noticed               while               placing               my               order               is               that               this               isn't               just               another               company               like               Dell               or               HP               --               It's               a               completely               different               system               almost               entirely.

I               was               able               to               pick               each               and               every               individual               part               that               went               into               my               PC               specifically,               even               right               down               to               the               brands               used.

I               thought               that               this               was               a               nice               touch,               because               one               of               the               things               that               I               didn't               like               about               Dell               &               HP               was               that               if               you               were               able               to               customize               your               choice               at               all,               they               only               offered               a               few               generic               and               undescriptive               choices               to               pick               from.

CyberPower               allows               you               to               custom               build               your               PC               from               the               ground               up,               right               down               to               what               style,               and               color               of               case               you               want               all               of               your               parts               to               call               home.
The               other               thing               that               I               noticed               right               off               the               bat               was               the               price               differences               between               CyberPower               and               Dell/HP.

I               was               able               to               build               my               computer               exactly               the               way               I               wanted               it,               with               brand-named               parts,               instead               of               the               mostly               generic               parts               used               by               Dell               &               HP,               while               keeping               the               price               at               almost               1/3               of               the               price               for               similar               PC's               offered               by               Dell               --               definitely               a               bonus               when               you're               a               college               student               --               or               for               anyone               for               that               matter.
After               i               finished               going               through               the               customization               process               &               actually               placed               the               order,               I               was               taken               to               a               page               that               would               allow               me               to               track               my               new               PC               during               each               phase               of               it's               "life"               between               them               &               me.

This               page               showed               what               was               being               done               to               the               PC,               the               estimated               ship               date,               and               the               completion               date               for               each               different               phase.

Once               the               PC               left               the               factory,               they               gave               me               a               link               to               the               FedEx               tracker               for               each               box               that               my               components               (Tower,               Monitor,               Keyboard,               Mouse,               etc.)               were               shipped               in,               so               i               always               knew               where               my               PC               was               at               during               the               process.

My               PC               actually               arrived               at               my               door               only               a               few               days               after               I               placed               the               order,               so               i               was               very               happy               with               the               time,               and               when               I               set               it               up               &               plugged               it               in,               I               noticed               right               off               the               bat               that               it               runs               almost               unbelievably               fast.

Any               program               I               load               up,               from               audio/video               editors,               to               photoshop,               to               games,               loads               nearly               instantly.
All               in               all,               I               think               that               companies               like               Dell               may               be               more               suitable               for               the               average               consumer,               because               their               tech               support               is               a               little               more               comprehensive               than               CyberPower's,               but               if               you               know               your               way               around               a               computer               fairly               well,               and               you               don't               plan               on               needing               much               Tech               Support               (not               to               say               that               CyberPower's               Tech               support               is               bad,               but               that               since               your               computers               parts               are               not               manufactured               by               them,               you               generally               have               to               contact               the               manufacturer               directly,               instead               of               going               through               CyberPower),               I'd               go               with               CyberPower.

I               know               that               I'll               definitely               be               ordering               my               computers               from               them               in               the               future.
